Out with the OLD and in with the NEW!

Today was makeover Saturday!! I have really been irritated with the girls room lately. It is a small bedroom with three toddler beds, a changing table, and 2 dressers. I know they are small and don't need much space, but what about the sanity of the parents. We suffer too. So last week I caught CC taking naps in a very peculiar place. . . .
The Changing Table! Hailey thought it was pretty cool too.
So I decided to do a ton of craigslist and ebay homework to find bunk beds for the girls! I was successful!Yeah! The makeover.........

I am so jealous of the girls! I want to sleep in there. (Hopefully I don't ever have too!) They all feel like such big girls now and hopefully this will keep them in there rooms all night :)Thank you craigslist!!

Our Best Tax Return Expenditure Ever!!!

Don't you hate it when the end of your tax return approaches?I know I sure do. I look back and ask myself "what the heck did we spend it on?" You buy yourself a new bed or computer and then it seems to dwindle down so quickly! Well, not this year! We will actually have something to show for it! Yeah!!! Now presenting our best tax return expenditure ever......meet PT Cruiser!

Our 2007 PT Cruiser with 31K miles!!

We are so excited! We have only had the luxury of two cars for a couple month right after we got married so this is great!!! It's pretty spacey too, we can fit all the girls in the back!Ahh... I catch myself peeking into the garage every now and then to take a gander!I feel so complete -I sound so worldly, I know-Bad girl Jess :)

Santa was at Starbucks!

Santa was at Starbucks and the girls had a blast! Mady was pretty scared of Santa. She was screaming "no,no" right before this picture was taken. Then she figured out that he had Candy!

There was cookie decorating, ornament making and free hot chocolate! It was great!

Happy Birthday Alicia!!

From the beginning!! For those of you wondering how she became "CC"......Look at those Chubby Cheeks!

This is ALICIA Dec 16th 2003! (doesn't my dad look good?)

Here CC is at 4 months old. I used to love Dressing her in her Old Navy!(Back when I was a fellow employee ~ I sure do miss that discount)
8 months old!!

I love this picture!! This is at Caleb and Jessica's wedding! I remember that the flower girl wasn't too happy to be in the pictures.

CC just jumped right in. She is such a ham!

I believe Alicia is 1 1/2 in this pic. This is when we lived in Chico . She was a little Fish back then. She would swim for hours!

This was taken in our Live Oak home. She loved to Dress up like a Princess. Who doesn't? I think CC is 3 here.

3 and 4 years old. This is the last of her Curly hair! I didn't like messing with it then, but I sure do miss it now.

This was her curly hair straightened out. I thought it made the "Korean" in her stand out.

This is the hair cut that made those curls disappear........
4 years old!

The Big "5"

It has been such a great experience! We always tell CC that she didn't train us properly as parents because she was such a good baby/child. We didn't have experiences to prepare us for her sisters. I sure do love this girl!

She is super excited to be old enough to attend school next year

(her mommy is excited too)

Love you CC!!

Twilight-Opening Night!

It's 1 am and I just got back from seeing the movie Twilight! I am sure everyone has read or heard about it. But if there is anyone out there like me who is not a strong reader, I still encourage you to go see this movie! It was awesome! I can't stop thinking about it and what is going to happen next. I may even read the books! That would be a miracle. GO watch this movie!Loved it! If I am lucky I will dream about it tonight!

"It's racing day, it's racing day"

On Nov.15th I raced in the Run the River Half Marathon. I ran with two friends Chelsea & Emily! The race started in Folsom and ended in Sacramento!

This is our before & after! Look at how happy we were post race!
I couldn't have done it without these girls!

Chelsea was creative and brought her camera along with us to take pictures at the mile markers.I think all the excitement made us forget to take the pictures at mile 13, 12, 11 and 10-opps!
I promise we ran all 13 though!

More than Half way there!! While one person sprinted to the marker another had to keep the pace and the other take the picture! We are talented aren't we!That is why our poses are gorgeous!

It was really fun to have the three of us there together. When one of us was having a tough mile it happen to be someone else's good mile. It was nice to have the support.

One mile left!! At this point all I could think about was getting it done in two hours! I didn't care how bad it hurt, and I paid the price the next four days! Ouch!

We did it!! And we all did a dang good job!
I finished 4th in my age divison at 2:02.Chlesea finished 6th in her divison (which happened to be her lucky number and bib number!) and Emily at 5th.

GIRL POWER!!

Here are my Fans!! Preston and the girls showed up just in time to give me a lift! Thanks guys!
