Camping at Fort Bragg!!

Here's a little re-cap of our trip to Fort Bragg! The weather was beautiful the sand was hot and the water was cold! But the girls loved it! We spent the camping trip with both grandpa & grandma Hagberg & Stewart and all 5 little aunties (alexis, heidi, ashley, megan, erica) ....and the oldest Auntie Lauren!

All these pictures were taken by my 12 year old sister Alexis!Who's got skills now?? She did an amazing job! Overall great trip! Two days on camping on sand is enough with 8 little girls running around :)

For my Shyler.....

I have recently discovered Picasa (thank you Amanda!) and am having so much fun with it! This is a collage that I created for my special sister Shyler for her birthday. " Sisters by Chance, friends by Choice" is what the frame read. Crazy how we really look realted! Either shyler looks a little brazilian or I look white! This was for her to take to BYU!! We love you Shyler!!

Finding the Motivation!

Well, as you can see we have gotten a bit behind in our postings! I don't know what happened. Life, I guess! Anyhow...... I have had a real hard time finding the motivation to get out a exercises. I was loving it when I was training for the sprint triathlon and the 1/2 marathon but after that I literally took a long break. It is amazing how the pounds creep back up slowly and before you know it you are disgusted with yourself. So this is my new resolution:
Preston and I are going to train for a Full Marathon! Yeah! I have never been able to do this sort of thing with my husband so I am so excited! November 15Th is the date. And I will be my goal weight of 130 by that time! So there....I said it out loud and now it will motivate me to make it happen!

So every time you log onto our blog you will see my Nike+ widget in the sidebar and be able to tell what I have been up too! Sweet!

Jeremy is here!!

My whombmate (as darrell would say) is visting us from Virginia for 3 weeks. He only has one week left :( But I am so happy to have him here with me. It makes me feel complete! I really wish he would move here because I love being with my twin!! Jacob , Jeremy's son, is here with him too and has been really fun to have around! He gets along great with the girls!

I wake up almost every morning to Jacob at the side of my bed asking "excuse me, excuse me....where is my batman costume?" He is wearing it when ever he can. CC really enjoyed having someone to wear hers with too. Batman and Batgirl!!

I finally have one!!!

I am sure most will not ever understand why I wanted this soo bad.....but I would spend nights dreaming about having one, but I have been very patient and know that is would not be realistic to spend $359 plus tax on one. For all of you who know that I am in love with red and deep down inside want the Betty Crooker in me to come out! I finally found one on, of course,craigslist for $140!! What a steal! Preston makes fun of me because every time I walk through and past the Kitchen Aid mixer my head turns so that I can look at for as long as possible. I do take peeks into the kitchen every now and again too I will admit! I did bake my first batch of cookies yesterday...and don't worry they were weight watchers cookies!!

Meet LuLu......

This is a newest member of our family! Meet LuLu, she was born in Hayward on Nov.14, 2008 and weighs 3 lbs. She is a Bichon Frise, who is perfect! Lulu's breed is known for not shedding, not being a yapper and being really good with kids! She will be about 10-12 lbs full grown! We are just so happy to have her as a part of the Family!

Out with the OLD and in with the NEW!

Today was makeover Saturday!! I have really been irritated with the girls room lately. It is a small bedroom with three toddler beds, a changing table, and 2 dressers. I know they are small and don't need much space, but what about the sanity of the parents. We suffer too. So last week I caught CC taking naps in a very peculiar place. . . .

So I decided to do a ton of craigslist and ebay homework to find bunk beds for the girls! I was successful!Yeah!The makeover.........

I am so jealous of the girls! I want to sleep in there. (Hopefully I don't ever have too!) They all feel like such big girls now and hopefully this will keep them in there rooms all night :)Thank you craigslist!!

Our Best Tax Return Expenditure Ever!!!

Don't you hate it when the end of your tax return approaches?I know I sure do. I look back and ask myself "what the heck did we spend it on?" You buy yourself a new bed or computer and then it seems to dwindle down so quickly! Well, not this year! We will actually have something to show for it! Yeah!!! Now presenting our best tax return expenditure ever......meet PT Cruiser!

We are so excited! We have only had the luxury of two cars for a couple month right after we got married so this is great!!! It's pretty spacey too, we can fit all the girls in the back!Ahh... I catch myself peeking into the garage every now and then to take a gander!I feel so complete -I sound so worldly, I know-Bad girl Jess :)

Santa was at Starbucks!

Santa was at Starbucks and the girls had a blast! Mady was pretty scared of Santa. She was screaming "no,no" right before this picture was taken.Then she figured out that he had Candy!

There was cookie decorating, ornament making and free hot chocolate! It was great!
